Post 9. Free themed topic. Choose one of these three topics and write about it . 1.- The pandemic 2.- A beautiful memory 3.- Someone you admire or your free time. 190 words. Having born and raised in one of the New York suburbs at the house of a dentist father in 1984, Mark Elliot Zuckerberg made his mark at an elementary school by getting interested in computer programming. The little “computer whiz” would revolutionize the concept of social media networking by creating a thing called “facebook.com” in 2004. Whatever followed after that is just 'history'.  Zuckerberg is one of the most prolific and successful programmers and entrepreneurs ever, and I admire him so much. Admiring a person for offering the world a new horizon of virtual reality by inventing a thing called “Facebook” in order to turn this world into a small place is easy. I could also easily admire his clear way of thinking which motivated him to wear the same T-shirt every day so that he didn’t have to...
Post    8:  A Subject you've enjoyed studying this semester Write about your favorite subject this term. Among others, include: > Name > Describe what you do in classes > Mention the main contents you have seen > Explain why you like the subject > Word Count: 150 > Make comments on 3 of your partners' posts + a comment on the teacher's post My favorite Subject When I was at University the subject that I liked the most was  Integrated Skills . In the class we had to work alone or sometimes in pairs. The idea of the subject was to learn to write. We had to write about topics in English using a specific (most of the time given by the teacher) amount of words. The spelling of the words was also important as well as the word order and lexis. The point was to get to the exact number of words. I liked this subject because it was the moment when you could feel free to write about any topic that came to your mind. I understand that this subject is...

BLOG 6 Free topic related to the career. A reflection on any aspect of it. 170 words Changing Lives and Caring Too Much Teaching is a profession where you really can make a difference in a child’s life, oftentimes profoundly. You are with children for a good part of the day, longer than their parents are, in most cases. Young children, especially, will look at you as a role model and repeat what you say and do. You often may help a teen struggling to figure out what career path to take. You could also be lucky enough to become the teacher everyone remembers as the one who cared enough to make a difference. However, making a difference in children's lives takes tremendous dedication and hard work. Teaching can be an exhausting job; physically, mentally and emotionally. You are with other people's children longer than you are with your own family. It is hard not to take the needs of the children in your class home with you, and the emotions that go along with that. Rem...

All the implicances around it.  220 palabras                                                       This photograph is full of symbolism. There you can see my son with his kinesiology doctor. She is Argentinian and when she received my son he was only crawling with no hope of walking. Everybody told us that he would never walk due to a brain stroke when he was born. However, she said, "do you allow me to use all the necessary tools and methodology to help him? Do you promise not to cry when he may cry? Do you commit to be regular when exercising? "We decided to go ahead because the only thing he wanted was to walk. She helped him to be stronger and positive, to fjght frustration and keep smiling no matter the pain or how tired he could be. The resul...

Together they wish to enhance travel experiences for people with physical disabilities, and are passionate about strengthening the tourism industry to be inclusive for everyone.    I learnt a great deal from Clair and Scott during our short chat, and one thing that resonated was that I felt so enlightened by their mission, that I asked them if they would like to pop together some more qualified information on Inclusive Tourism for our readers, so that we can continue the conversation about Inclusive Tourism.   Inclusive tourism is not about offering special or separate assistance, it is about putting people first and recognizing that all people are unique in their abilities. Being inclusive doesn...
